I was trying to set up my USB so I could run psx off of it. I typed the command cp -Rav /home/pi/RetroPie/roms and hit enter before I end the last code part which was usb0. I freaked out and pulled the plug (yea I know dont judge). Now it doesn't boot to the emulation station just to the command screen. Anything I can do to fix it so I dont have to start all over? O I have a rasp pie 3 with the latest raspberry

You probably corrupted your sd card by not doing a proper shutdown. Try a new sd card

You probably corrupted it if it was writing when you pulled the plug. Best to start again as advised by @space-cadet
