      Hello All

Recently bought a Raspberry Pi 3 B and have the pre-made image of RetroPie 4.1 running on it. Using a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 which works flawlessly. Am hugely impressed with it so far!

I have managed to get most things working, even my MAME roms but am struggling with NeoGeo. The games look like they're starting then just go back to the game select menu. From what I've read all I need to do is ensure I have the neogeo.zip file in the NeoGeo subfolder within roms. Is there something I'm missing?

Also, having a read up on Amiga games and am I right in thinking I cannot launch them without a mouse / keyboard attached?

While typing just had a thought, if I want to introduce a second controller to my setup, will RetroPie manage OK if I buy the exact same model as my existing one?

      Thanks in advance.

Yes, you need to understand Arcade roms and MAME. You need to follow the instructions as detailed:

        https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first
        https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2859/how-to-use-mame-with-retropie-help-guide
        https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Managing-ROMs

If you do, you would not have a crash back to the game menu.

Thanks, will have a read through those later, I just assumed NeoGeo and MAME were separate things.
