      Hi all,

i'm optimizing vice with best settings, at this moment i can't find how to set default path when i 'attach :
      disk image,
      prg file,
      tape image or
      crt file",
the default path is /home/pi so i have to go in RetroPie>roms>c64 folder, it's not a big problem but it would be nice if when i want start a image i will be directly in roms/c64 folder.

Does it exist the possibility to set it?

      Thanks a lot

Reading my post i realized that when i select F12 (to open vice Menu) and I select a file to launch, the folder is /home/pi/ because i'm logged with pi user however it would be nice to change default path /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/c64/

I think that select the c64 ROM to run in the vice menu is much quicker than quit vice, wait to enter in emulation station, select a rom and return to vice but maybe all peole choice this way to change game...

Sorry, already read but i have forgot to put informations in this post, normally i do it :(
            Raspberry pi zero
            latest Retropie image
            16 GB SD samsung

It's my fault, if I launch emulation station than c64 the right path is set and actualy in my full arcade machine works well, in this pi zero i'm planning to prepare a retropie image that launch directly c64 basic, i will put into a normal PC keyboard to make a modern C64 computer.
To launch directly vice with c64 basic i have added line :
            /opt/retropie/emulators/vice/bin/x64 (in autostart.sh)
            and i have commented emulationstation

now i have modified line to:
            /opt/retropie/emulators/vice/bin/x64 -chdir /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/c64

            and works

            Thanks

@Marcone698 Please read the link again (for next time):

RetroPie Version Used (3.6, 3.8.1, 4.01 etc.. - do not write latest)

but yes, -chdir is the correct option (which we use when launching normally).
