Hi, I've been playing with my PS3 original controller on my Pi 3b for awhile and never had issues. I've done an update of my retropie and since then the bluetooth cease to function.

I've found a way on the internet to question the bluetooth module to get it's state

      "sudo systemctl status hciuart.service"

This way I've obtain, like a lot of other users on some other forums, this terrific error :

      Active: failed (Result: exit-code)
      Process: 1059 ExecStart=/usr/bin/hciattach /dev/serial1 bcm43xx 921600 noflow - (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

So figure I had to reinstalled it, so I did :

"sudo apt-get install raspberrypi-sys-mods (to stop blocking process)"
      "sudo apt-get install --reinstall pi-bluetooth"
      reboot

.... and I still at the same state!

I really don't want to reinstall the whole OS just for some mixup in a bluetooth configuration that I haven't create, please help!
