      Hi

Apologies if this is simple, I tried searching but could not figure out how to phrase it?

So my X-Box 360 pad is wired and works fine to navigate the EmulationStation GUI. I have also set the k/b up to do the same, works great.

BUT when I choose "RetroArch" to start the RA GUI, the control mappings have not propagated. Back/Forward (Z/X on k/b) do nothing and I can only use the k/b arrow keys. No way to select anything or exit RA.

What happened is: I was setting the input mappings for player 1 in RA and I flailed on the controls in order to hurry out and redo. But something broke and now A/B (xbox pad) and Z/X (k/b) do not move forward and back in RA.

I have been getting familiar with the config files and cannot find anything that looks odd. I cleared out the gamepad-specific configs and tried to redo with no luck. For some reason, back & forward in RA just don't work now and don't inherit the mapped buttons from EmulationStation.

Where could this be buried? I just finished the entire setup and now I can't play anything using a gamepad or do anything in the RA GUI without the back/forward buttons mapped.

      Thanks again

FYI I believe the only other thing I did in RA at the same time I broke the controls was to enable "save changes on exit"
