The shader i picked for my snes wont show up.
-
Hey there, im pretty new to the Retropie and i have a little problem.
I know how to set shaders for consoles and did so successfully with my psx, neogeo and such, the difference is the shaders i used for those were in the settigs from the start.
I tried to add a shader for my Snes that i liked which is called "crt hyllian glow".
I can pick it from the options and it shows up in the list but it doesn't apply.
The strange thing is i can pick the shader manually with select+m/n on the keyboard and it works but i have to do that every time i launch a game which is a bit of a hassle.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? -

Thank you for the reply
My problem is not that i dont know how to apply a shader, the steps from the other thread you pointed me to is what i did for my other emulators such as FBA and PSX which work just fine.
The only shader that this doesn't work with is this "crt hyllian glow" shader that i added myself since it didnt come with my image of retropie, which is the shader i want to use for the SNES.
I would just think that the shader just doesn't work but i can select it manually by cycling throu the shaders with the "select + N/M" Keyboard command.
I tried it with the retroarch menu and in the configuration editor but that keyboard command was the only way i could make it show up at all until now.
I use Retropie 4.1.6 on an Raspberry Pi 3 -
