      @Rookervik Hi! I love your theme but I use Recalbox sytem in my Pi. Could you upload your Version 1.9.3 of the teme? Recalbox don't have theme downloader and I can't update the theme...
      Thanks mate! ;)

            @sergioad They are good suggestions. I just didn't have any plans to make a splash screen that looked like Luminous. I've got a couple other projects going right now. And I fiddled with one idea. Didn't like how it turned out. alt text I'll think of something better after I finish editing the modern theme... and get the pixel2 theme finished up.

              @Rookervik i think if you darkened up the sides of the letter blocks it would be perfect. I really like this one. Its just a little hard to read the word. But i do like it. Im a little partial to honeycomb though.... :)

                  @Rookervik said in Pixel Theme:

                  I haven't re-uploaded anything since the site change. You can get the Theme Helper in my dropbox: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/60872572/EmulationStation/ES Theme Helper3.rar

                  It's windows-only. If more than 2 or 3 people used it, I might use Construct 2 and make an HTML5 version of it that would work in a web browser on any system. But I think there are.... exactly 3 people that use it. LOL.

                  I would like to use it! How's this HTML5 versions coming? :P

                    Hi everyone,

                    I'm trying to change de default Retropie Settings icons with the ones that come with the Pixel Theme, and so far, no luck :(

                    I've tried changing the location of the icons in /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/retropie/gamelist.xml but it doesn't seem to work.
                    Am I looking at the right file?

                    I'm trying to change the icons path from

                    <game>
                        <path>./audiosettings.rp</path>
                        <name>Audio</name>
                        <desc>Configure audio settings. Choose default of 'auto', 3.5mm jack, or HDMI. Mixer controls, and apply default settings.</desc>
                        <image>./icons/audiosettings.png</image>
                        <playcount>6</playcount>
                        <lastplayed>20161123T202849</lastplayed>
                    </game>

                    to

                    <game>
                        <path>./audiosettings.rp</path>
                        <name>Audio</name>
                        <desc>Configure audio settings. Choose default of 'auto', 3.5mm jack, or HDMI. Mixer controls, and apply default settings.</desc>
                        <image>~/etc/emulationstation/themes/pixel/retropie/icons/audiosettings.png</image>
                        <playcount>6</playcount>
                        <lastplayed>20161123T202849</lastplayed>
                    </game>

                    (I'm not sure if the ~ is right, but it'¡s not working anyway)

                    And is it possible that this file resets itself every time the system starts? Because I tried changing

                    <name>Audio</name>

                    to

                    <name>Whatever</name>

                    I restarted the system and the title was <name>Audio</name>back again.

                    Thanks.

                        And why not create a fork of Pixel with 8 bit NES like selection / cursor movement sounds? Pixel sounds maybe?

                          @sergioad Editing it with sounds is fine. But most users complain about whatever sound you choose. So I chose not to have sounds in the theme. It's better than getting 150 comments saying "This sound is annoying. Change it." lol.

                                Hi, ive seen a version of this on your tube that when you select a game, the screen zooms into the box art or screenshot thats being shown top right.

                                how did they do that?

                                      Some guy on youtube seems to have managed to run this theme in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Any idea how he did this? Is this related to the theme, or is this a Raspberry Pi setting?

                                        All themes will run in whatever resolution your system is set to. Since his is set to a CRT Television, it's 4:3 and the themes are displayed at 4:3.

                                            @felleg The Pi automatically sets itself to 4:3 when it boots and a TV is hooked up to the RCA cables. If you're on a HDMI TV trying to get into a 4:3 resolution you can do it by messing with the config.txt. But it's kind of silly to do that on a widescreen TV.

                                            config.txt video modes: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/config-txt.md
