Finally got everything up and running, still 2 minor issues

Hey guys,
I got my PI3 up and running retropie (latest version)
i hooked it to my infocus beamer with hdmi and everything works great.
I set all emulators at 720p resolution but i can't find the option to set ES/retropie to this res. so everytime i start or exit a game the resoltion will change from 720p to 572 something....... Any way to set it all to 720??And second issue is a known issue but i didn't find a fix for it...
I installed Kodi port and it works, but on exit Kodi i get a black screen and the only way getting back to ES is to reboot the PI.grtz,

(give details - and don't say "latest version" when requesting support)
If you want to run at 720p - just set 720p in
/boot/config.txtrather than via runcommand.to fix kodi see this post

Thnx for your reply, just one question.....since Kodi was installed thru ES packages how can i update it to this rc1 version?grtz
