Hiperkin releasing new wired controller for Xbox One and Windows PC
-
I didn't see anything about this posted but wanted to share. I seen this on The Verge the other day. Apparently Hyperkin is releasing a new USB wired controller that might add another decent option for retro gaming.

They lost all credibility to me the moment I held a Retron5 controller in my hands.
-
They lost all credibility to me when they sold the emulators they don't have the right to sold.
-
Well Im glad you guys chimed in. I think I'll avoid this company then.

@BORIStheBLADE1 Don't give up just yet. There are more alternatives out there.
Hori Fighting Commander
Mad Catz Fightpad Pro
Snes/Sfc Pro

@Rion Man I totally forgot about the Hori Commander!! Another good option, thanks.
-
I have 2 Hori Fighting Commander 4, they are awesome.

The Hyperkin Sega Genesis 6-button USB controller is pretty great. I mean, it's no original Sega Genesis 6-button with Turbo (which I had to literally order 9 from eBay to find TWO that weren't jacked up), but the closest I've found. They're pretty nice actually...just hoping the rubber breaks in over time as it's still too hard to press buttons over an extended gaming session (original controllers take a lot less pressure).

@barbudreadmon Why does it only have one "arm"? It looks like it could get uncomfortable after a while.

@mattrixk
It for people who like using it arcade style with their index, middle, and ring finger, instead of only with their thumb like a regular modern controller. The left being longer gives them better grip to do that. -
@barbudreadmon I forgot they released this one. Thanks for reminding me!
-
@Dochartaigh Oooohhh, interesting. I didn't think of that. Cheers.

It doesn't get uncomfortable with thumb either.
