@liquidzoo I did what the guide said on getting the Roms downloaded them straight from [redacted - Read the rules] the moved them to the PSX ROM folder
-
@streetsweep
The rules here states not to say where you downloading ROMs from! You need to unzip and/or unrar the downloads first so you have a
<game name>.bin
and a<game name>.cue
. Then put both of those files in/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx/
on your RPi.I don't have a PlayStation choice on the main screen I only have NES SNES nes64 and Sega
you might not have one of the PSX emulators install because the default image of RetroPie doesn't come with it pre-installed (I don't think).
https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Updating-RetroPie#updatinginstalling-individual-packagesFast forward that video I posted above to like 15:28 and watch it until the end!

Everything I download is going into 7z file I extract it making it a .Bin.ecm file
-
@streetsweep ok now you need to extract it from the .ecm. You can google how to extract .ecm file.
-
@streetsweep honestly though just google for psx .pbp files. Much easier to use a .pbp then bin and cues.
-
@edmaul69 .pbp files will definitely be the easiest way to get this working.
-
What about .rar
-
@streetsweep you have to unzip the .rar. So i dont know what files are in the .rar
-
Cuz I can't find any .pbp ones unless someone can email me a link
-
@streetsweep if you find .pbp files they will probably be in a zip or .rar. You just have to unzip the .rar to get the .pbp file out
-
I guess I just need an easier step by step way to do it because I'm not very tech savvy I know some but I guess this is past my limit
-
Holy cow I got a game on there and can play it I found a website that works
