      Hello guys,

for the past days I've been searching the whole web for some easy instructions on defining individual gamepad layouts for single N64 games, yet the information I found did not help me. Could someone please explain in detail how I can set individual (per ROM) gamepad layouts for N64 games? Like for example, I want to give the football games a modern FIFAish layout.

      I'm using Emulationstation 2.1.2 .

      Thank you very much!

I know this is possible with both lr-Mupen64plus and lr-GLupeN64 emulators. You just make a text with the same name as the ROM with .cfg appended to it. Example: if the ROM is named "Mario Kart 64.n64" then the file is named "Mario Kart 64.n64.cfg". Then put your controller mapping in that file like input_b_btn = "0".

Now for Mupen64plus I'm not sure how to accomplish this. Maybe someone else out there knows the answer?

Thanks for your answer, I tried other emulators but unfortunately, none of the games I want to play are emulated correctly so I want to stick with mupen64plus.

Am I really the only one who tried to implement different controller layouts with this emulator? Can't be true ...
