I got a raspberry pi for xmas with retropie installed on it and a SNES usb controller. I loaded roms via sftp connection. The emulator ran fine for every game i tried for the snes. I then loaded alot of games into Nes, GB, GBC, GBA, and Megadrive. Once all the roms were loaded i could see them in each system. I tried them all, the only ones that would work were GB GBC and Megadrive. The snes wont run anymore they start to load and show a emulator config screen then boots back to the games list. What would cause roms that worked fine to stop loading once i added other roms to other systems?

@loop315 Which image are you using? What hardware are you on? Please read this as agreed on signing up to the forums https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first and give us some more info.

From your post, I can kind of deduce that as you got this Retropie "kit" for Christmas, that it was purchased with the SD card pre-loaded. That type of image is not something that the devs here will support and you'd be better downloading the official image and following the initial setup guide on the wiki.
