If I wasn't bald I would be pulling my hair out. I can't wrap my head around the button mapping. I have the Mayflash fightstick connected to the zero port of the pi (player 1) and I'm using Nachos 64gb image. the controls for ES are fine they work the way I want them, but I want to set the core input setting for the arcade core to be different from ES (specifically for fighting games). I've tried to follow this https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/RetroArch-Configuration
But nothing is working right. In some cases the quick menu won't even let me change certain buttons. I think my main issue is there is no image that shows me what buttons would be the default for a fighting game. for example a=light punch. I see all the images for the SNES controller or Xbox Controller but I don't see how that translates to an fight stick.

What is the default layout for mame cores?

This is the exact model fightstick I'm using http://www.mayflash.com/Products/PCUSB/PC042.html
