      Hi all,

      anybody successfully using overlays in dosbox?

      For SNES and MAME I did it but it seems as dosbox does not care for the retroarch.cfg content, like

      custom_viewport_x = "0"
      custom_viewport_y = "0"

      simply does not work. Dosbox only reads config from the dosbox-SVN.conf file?

      Since MAME and SNES have a lot of overlay support and forum talk, maybe I missed something like with dosbox overlays are not possible at all, because it is not a libretro dosbox?

      Is there a list with emulators with overlay support or should it work with all emulators...?

        @Alex retroarch supports overlays so any libretro emulator can use them. I dont think their is a way in dosbox

          So there are "stand alone" emulators (like dosbox) and libretro emulators. The feature of overlays only come with the libretro ones, I guess.

          I found in git a libretro-dosbox (unfortunately I was not able to compile it out of the box on my pi...)

          I will try again...
