Cardboard Mini NES + Nes mini and Famicom mini themes

I'm anxiously awaiting support for ScummVm, but would also like to request support for Frotz, the Z-machine interpreter. Something as simple as an Amber colored version of the DosBox graphics would more than suffice.
Can someone also point me in the right direction to getting the American style SNES graphics in place of the European ones? I've managed to figure out how to do so with the TurboGrafx, and the Genesis, but I'm at a loss with the SNES. I saw earlier in this thread that it has to be done by manually copying/renaming images, but I'm not sure where those images go.
@ruckage , thanks for the excellent work you've been doing. We're all thankful for this masterpiece of a theme!

As @LiveFastCyYoung said I haven't updated either of these themes for a while but the famicom theme in particular is a bit behind, part of the reason for this is I want to completely re-work the that theme as due to some ES improvements it could be made in a much more streamlined way so that will be my next step (I have a famicom that @FlyingTomahawk kindly sent me so I will definitely be going back to the Famicom theme fairly soon.)
To anyone following this thread I'm sorry for the lack of updates, it's for entirely selfish reasons as I've been busy working on my PC engine mod so that's been keeping me busy. I will however continue working on these themes in the future - I haven't abandoned them.

@ruckage NESmini is by far my favorite theme! Keep up the good work! Any chance you could add appleII to the to-do list? No rush though, I can wait for good quality work such as yours.
-
Hi @ruckage, wonderful themes and such attention to detail - thanks for all the hard work involved.
-
Hi @ruckage will there be a possibility for you to create a Sega Saturn folder icon? I noticed that you created one for the Megadrive and x32 but not Saturn.
Dave
-
@davec2020 Because Saturn is unplayable on the Pi.

@ruckage Hello, it's me again :) You may recognize me from the SNES mini thread. Visit that thread for more info; basically these are steam icons for this theme (I decided to make NES mini versions of that too!)
MOCKUP SCREENSHOT:
(I do not have the ability to take a screenshot on my raspberry pi, at least I don't know how; thus, this is a mockup screenshot I created. Some things in this mockup will appear lower quality than they would if you imported the assets correctly into retropie. The largest inaccuracy in this screenshot is the "2 games available" text, as it is a different font)DOWNLOAD (readme included)

OTHER NOTES:
For you SNES-Classic theme users, look no further than here!
I hope you enjoy! This is my first time posting on this website, let me know if this is the wrong place. -
Do you have an estimate of how many grams it is? (Without the Pi in it)
Thanks,
Sorry if this is badly formatted, Iβm new to this forum. -
"Our Box Art Is In Another Castle"
Haha thats so cool. -
@davec2020 Saturn doesn't work on the Pi, wouldn;t make sense to create it.
-
But it works on PC.

@stuart2773 Hi! I'm wondering if you already have finished this theme, it looks awesome and I haven't found nothing more accurate to the NES/FAMICOM MINI Themes.
It is for ES?
Thank you!
-
Ok, this isn't anything amazing but thought some people might be able to use it. Just something I whipped up fairly quickly to make it look a bit better.
-
Just wanted to say that I really love this theme and I hope you continue development on it!
-
@necro can you zip and send me your custom icons including tc16 cd?
-

Not sure from this post whether you like or hate the theme. Perhaps English isn't your first language and something is being lost in translation.

Just a quick update on the theme. I'm currently in the process of porting over the nes-mini theme to the snes mini theme the aim being that the snes, nes, and famicom mini themes will all be contained within one big customisable theme. It will hopefully be easier maintaining 1 theme rather than 3 separate themes and it will also mean that the Nes-mini theme can benefit from all of the customisation options of the Snes mini theme.
So far I have all the backgrounds ported over, it took a fair amount of work as despite the layouts of the themes being very similar the borders are actually larger on the snes mini theme so I've had to adjust all the backgrounds to take this into account. Likewise the nes borders had to be adjusted to match the taller borders used on the snes theme.
There is still quite a bit to do but its looking good so far and I hope everyone will be happy with this change.

Sounds great! I always used this one as opposed to the SNES mini one for whatever reason. Using it on my PC now and it works great.

@livefastcyyoung
Thanks for the reply. Hopefully once ported the snes-mini theme should be able to replicate this theme fairly accurately with only minor changes - though at the moment it's proving more of a headache than I originally anticipated....
