      Pi Model: 3B
Power Supply used: CanaKit 5V 2.5A
RetroPie Version Used: 4.1.15 [Last Commit: 22 hours ago (2498322)]
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website (retropie-4.1-rpi2_rpi3.img)
USB Devices connected: Logitech K400r Wireless Keyboard (via Logitech Unifying Receiver)
Controller used: Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710 (x2)
      Error messages received: N/A
Guide used: Attempted various alsa configurations (internet searches)
      File: /home/pi/.asoundrc & /etc/asound.conf

Is it possible to do this with ALSA? I have a pair of speakers connected to the 3.5mm, and my monitor (ASUS VH236h) has its own built-in speakers. It would be great to have sound pumping out of both at the same time.
I've searched and attempted many times to piece together a working asound.conf file, but i'm not a programmer, and can't seem to find anything pi-specific.

I know it's now possible with kodi, but would love to have this working with the emulators as well. Being able to mix the two outputs really adds to the fullness of the sound.
