      I’m using overlays on some emulators and they’re working fine.

      However, after experimenting with various overlays on the Game Boy emulator (lr-gambatte) I now can’t turn them off!

      After loading a Game Boy rom, I keep going into the Retroarch settings menu and turn off the overlay. I then save the core config for all games and return to the game, which works fine (disabling the overlay). However, after I exit back into the list of games and load a new Game Boy rom, the overlay reappears!

      I’m sure I can just disable this form within the appropriate config file but I don’t know which one pertains to overlays!

      Hope someone can help as this is the only niggle currently annoying me as a brand new Retropie user!

        I worked out the solution myself.

        To override the overlay setting, I went into this config file:

        /opt/retropie/configs/gb/retroarch.cfg

        And added the following line:

        input_overlay_enable = false

          Thanks for looking into this. I'll try it when I get home. Anyone figure out why you can't toggle the "disable" switch in retroarch and have it save?
