OK so trying to get Amiga games up and running, I can get into the emulator and get games running however I for the life of me can't figure out the controls at all,
      The Wiki states
These are hard coded currently. This initial mapping was chosen as it's somewhat similar to MAME, and should mostly work on any controllers that use that input mapping (such as the picade). Joy pad/Joystick is currently untested.

      in game:

      lctrl - joy 1/mouse 1 (button X in gui)
      lalt - joy 2/mouse 2 (button Y in gui)
lshift - joy 1 autofire (button A in gui)
      z - mouse 1 (button B in gui)

      5 - switch input between mouse/joystick

arrow keys - up / down / left / right

I am using a PicadeHAT with, it has 6 action buttons that emulate keyboard presses via GPIO,
As the wiki states, the hard coded controls should be pre-set for the Picade but i for the life of me can't get the buttons working, joystick works but i think this is likely just because its emulating the arrows on the keyboard (so not technically working as a joystick at this point)

      Any ideas would be great.

Pi Model or other hardware: Pie 3
      Power Supply used: Official 2.5a
      RetroPie Version Used 4.1.15
Built From: built from premade image some time ago, updated from source a number of times
      USB Devices connected: none
      Controller used: PicadeHAT
      File: any amiga games
      Emulator: UAE4ARM

Note:- I did notice that the tutorial video shown on the wiki page is a tutorial for UAE4ALL not UAE4arm, has the rest of the Wiki been changed or is all the info in the wiki related to UAE4all,

      Thanks in advance

I'm interested in this also. I'm running an iPac setup with 2 joysticks and 2x6 buttons, is it possible to get both Player 1 and (maybe especially) Player 2 defined, when these controls are hardcoded?

@bartenational This topic is over 2 years old.

start a new topic with your issue and details of your setup (see sticky topics). These days you should use Amiberry over uae4arm. It has a lot more controller options.

@bartenational then why are you saying you have the same issue? This feels like spam.

Why have you linked to a subreddit you have made?

@BuZz It's definitely spam, the Reddit forum creation account is now deleted.
