So what I basically done was putting a custom splash screen, as I want my RetroPie to feel more like a console. The problem is that every time I boot my Pi up, it usually works, but it doesn't even work if I restart it or plug it out and in again. It's always that stupid "Failed to get usbmount@dev-sda-service" that always happens. The USBMount problem hasn't been an issue until I put the video splash screen on. My Raspberry Pi is the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B and is connected on the same network as my PC.

@EctoOne I know this may be stupid to ask but where about is the opt folder? I use a Mac to organise my files and I do not know or see a opt folder. I'm a noob to this kind of stuff so help me out.

EDIT: I figured out how to get it working. I put it into home/pi/RetroPie/splashscreens and it worked. I restarted it multiple times and it did work. Even if I plugged it out and in it actually works.

@Allanbuzzy AFAIK You'll need something like FileZilla to FTP to your Pi unless you want to do it all in the command line.
