I have found everything about retropie works really well and is easy to set up except for the scraping side of things - I end up with lots of roms that aren't picked up. So i was wondering if it is possible to use someone else gameslists and artwork?

basically, i figure that as most get their rom sets from the same places they have the same filenames - mame for instance wont vary - so if one person has a perfectly set up list for a particular machine then someone else should be able to grab the gameslist and artwork off them, add it to their retropie installation and all should work well - would this be the case?

If so, anyone want to share their games lists with me :D

(I hope this doesn't contravene any 'rom request' style rules, i don't think it does...

@chubsta @Nismo is doing something like that on his media packs effort. Definitely search for those in the forums :)
