I have the problem with Xiaomi BT gamepad, I can configure it in retropie gamepad setup without problems, I just press buttons, and are detected, I can even see chinesse characters of the name....but it don´t work on games.

I saw the documentation on how to fix it adding a file on edev folder, but I have no edev folder and the name of the xiaomi gamepad is "??????????????????.cfg" , instead chinesse characters... so I am not sure if this is the right way to fix the problem or there is a better way now. I have raspbian pixel and retropie 3.x installed with "apt-get install" command, not a retropie image,

Should I update to retropie 4? This will fix the ?? file name?
