      I'm looking all over in the retroarch menu to enable 4 players on this rom with lr-mame2003. Can someone point towards me towards the right direction so I can use 4 controllers with my friends?

      Pi Model or other hardware: Pi3B
      Power Supply used: 2.5 amp power supply
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.1
      Built From: Premade from Retropie website
      USB Devices connected: 4x ibuffalo controllers
      Controller used:
      Error messages received:
      Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant):
      Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide)
      File: Captain America and The Avengers (Asia Rev 1.4) ROM
      Emulator: lr-mame2003
      Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
      How to replicate the problem:

      Pi Model or other hardware: Pi3B
      Power Supply used: 2.5 amp power supply
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.2.10
      Built From: Premade from Retropie website
      USB Devices connected: 4x ibuffalo snes controllers

        @edm203 That is not a 4 player ROM. I ve checked 2 others UK rev1.4 - only 2 players & Asia rev1.9 also only 2 players. There are 6 in total in the 0.78 romset. Check the other 3 and see if they are 4 player ROMs. There is no way to "enable" it in a 2 player ROM, you just need the correct 4 player ROM. It might not even be in the 0.78 set.
        EDIT: I'm totally wrong. See other post.

          @edm203 Sorry. I stand corrected! After looking at this further you actually CAN enable 4 players. In the game press TAB to bring up the MAME menu. Select Dip Switches Highlight Max Playersand press Right to change to 4 players. Return to main menu and reset the game. It will now reload as the 4 player version.
