So I searched for this topic. I found this thread (https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/4575/what-s-the-name-of-the-game?loggedin) but it's really old, so I made this new topic for anyone trying to remember the name of an old game.

I'm 34 now and can basically remember every single game I played when I was small, but there is this one game which is bugging me. Maybe someone can help:

I played this game on holiday in France, probably in 1988 or 1989, but definitely no later than 1990.

It was a scrolling shooter a bit like Contra, but with a space theme. Your playable character was something like Samus from Metroid. At the start of the game you could select a planet for which stage you want to play. There were at least 4 different planets to select, and one of the planets was egg or oval shaped. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

First thought was 'Forgotten Worlds', but the planet select, 'Solar Warrior'?

t's from the mid to late 90s for Windows PCs and had 3D graphics. You played a spaceship and your goal was to defend the earth from alien spaceships and asteroids. The earth was in the center of the screen and you were only able to rotate your ship around the earth with the left/right arrow key. The scales were very odd, your spaceship was about half the size of the earth.

This game I loved playing in computer class, It was a math game. Took place in a theme park of sorts. The center was a western saloon where you could drag shapes and make designs. And the other games were like, riding a train by clicking numbers. It also ran on Windows XP. Any help is welcome

When I was an arcade operator we had this one Indiana Jones style adventure game in a 3-player cabinet. Each player had a different primary weapon, then there was a Dynamite button you could press to throw dynamite. EXCEPT, when I would play the game through, we would NEVER find ANY dynamite. Ever. The attract mode would even speak "Use the dynamite button to blow them up with dynamite!", yet there was none to be found. I also completely forgot the name of this game.

@maplestory Ah, thanks! I'll have to dig through my roms and find that one. Maybe see if there is a dipswitch setting for dynamite. LOL...

I have another one I can't find. Outside of pinball machines, it is the last of the games my local arcade had back in late 90s that I can't trace.

It was a standup driving game (wheel + 2 pedals I think, there might have been a gear lever). The game was sprite based, and was played from 1st person (inside the car).

The first level was driving in the city. I remember it being pretty grey, so probably driving during the night. There were grey metal (?) panels (like the ones you might see on highways in Europe) on the side of the road. When you drove fast they looked like a single wall, but when you run into them you would see each sprite/texture and gaps between them.

The only other in game thing I remember that at one point, if you drove into the panels and kept driving into them there was a secret shortcut that would take you to something like level 4.

I vaguely remember the arcade machine having white and blue, so it might have been a Sega game (superscaler maybe?).

                                  So here goes...

I'm looking for a space game, probably early 90s. It was a 3D dos game where you could take on different missions like space races, dog fights ( i think) but I don't remember it being a Space Quest type of game. I am pretty sure it was a spaceship cockpit (maybe view toggle options) and not much else, you really kind of felt alone out there in space, only with high quality 3D imaging. I don't remember it being super fast paced but I remember having the demo and loved it so much. If I can think of any other details I will add them.

There was this math Computer game that I loved playing when I was little. That game was on a cd and it had monsters in it and it had a mini games it it that you could play and one of the mini games was a factory with pubbles and it was a skip counting by tens and you had to put the right amount of pebbles on the conveyor belt that equala the answer. I loved the game lots but I have no idea what it is called

Oh man, here we go. This one's been nagging at me for a while. All I can remember is that it was puzzler on the PSP. It had something to do with moving multi-colored blocks around an area with a black background. This was probably 12-15 years ago.
