      Just an update since i probably should posted here in the first place.
      https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/issues/1947

      C-Dog-sdl does work great. Controllers are pretty much out of the box, along with coop/vs splitscreen multiplayer.
      They also offer a mission pack on there website if you want more missions todo http://cxong.github.io/cdogs-sdl/downloads.html.

      Compiling is fairly simple and i can upload the binary and some screenshots later when i have time.

      Edit: Here's a run down

      (Screenshots - Proof)

      (Compiling)
      git clone https://github.com/cxong/cdogs-sdl.git
      cd cdogs-sdl
      ./make.sh
      ./src/cdogs-sdl. You are ready to go!

      If you move the compiled bin, you will also need to keep and probably keep the structure difinite.
      data
      docs?
      dogfights
      graphics
      missions
      music
      sounds
      src -> bins in it

      (Compiled Binary)
      Again for those who would not prefer to compile it.

        @Omnija
        I've heard someone else talk about C-Dog SDL just a couple weeks ago. I haven't ever played it but if I can play it on my Raspberry Pi then I'll be giving it a try!

          Thanks for this, good to know that C-Dogs SDL works here too. I'm the maintainer of C-Dogs SDL, don't have a Raspberry Pi though.

          How's the performance? The game has performance issues on some portable devices (GCW-Zero, Pandora), so I was wondering if that's also the case here. Ideally it should run at 70fps all the time, even on the bigger maps. You can enable an FPS counter in the options. I'm going to be looking at performance for the next release.

          The game is released via GitHub releases (https://github.com/cxong/cdogs-sdl/releases). Version 0.6.5 was just released a day ago.
