Everyone here volunteers their valuable time freely and an immediate reply isn't guaranteed. The implied attitude that comes with multiple question marks, as well as calling your situation "crap" and "bs" won't expedite the situation either. It'll help to draw in opinions and possibilities if you fill out the requested information found at https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. We're here to help, but you have to meet us half way.

So the fact that that I see post from months ago with no reply or help is what exactly. I'm completely frustrated with trying over and over the very limited instructions to accomplish a task with no avail. I come from plenty of other forums on different topics that don't require so much of a hassle just to get a reply. For someone trying to learn, having to deal with issue after issue after issue gets old, I spent two hours trying to figure out why when I used sudo bluetoothctl I could not type anything after it, only to get stuck again from the limited and pathetic instructions offered on this site. Sorry for me being pissed off, but it's not like your here to offer me any help as it is nice support.

@OfficialFBomb the wii stuff is the hardest to set up. I think the wiiu controller is compatible with a dolphin bar. The dolphin bar is $20 and easy to set up. You sync the controller to the bar. Really simple

Sorry to hear about the Bluetooth problems. I personally have never use the wii pro controllers so I can't guide you with this. I have had connection issues in the past that have frustrated me greatly but have always found a solution. Some information is needed to really help you. You mentioned a Bluetooth adapter... what brand are you using? I have had success with the plugable brand in the past. I use the built in Bluetooth now with the 8bitdo controllers. What version of Retropie are you running. There were issues in the past and it can still be tricky but we cannot help with out the information. I also have learned a lot from Floobs YouTube channel. Please also read the read first section mentioned above. I can post on a car web site that my car doesn't run but more information is needed to help. Good luck

As you say, RetroPie can be a complicated system and as such, we need to know as much as possible about your setup to give you effective guidance. Even then, it's still possible that no one here will be able to help you, but going around in circles like this and using the forum as a punching bag certainly won't help.

I think the wiiu controller is compatible with a dolphin bar.

              Unfortunately it is not compatible.

System is a Pi Zero, RetroPie install, Emulationstation 2.1.5rp, rp version 4.1.2, with a targus 4.0 bt dongle, after trying a audiobot 4.0 dongle, both show active and successful.. No other updates or anything like that installed this time, last time everything was the same except I installed all drivers and updated all installed packages same result.. In the Bluetooth setup, pairing does not work, via the command prompt and audio Bluetoothctl I get to pair (+tab) and nothing..

As a troubleshooting measure, have you tried pairing it with another computer besides the Pi? Also, do you know if it will currently pair successfully with the WiiU?

@mediamogul I am currently using it on my Alienware laptop via the built in bluetooth as we speak, and as of two weeks ago it was working fine on my Wii U..

Have you tried unpairing it from your laptop as a precursor to pairing with the Pi?

Working in reverse, do you have another Bluetooth device that you could pair with the Pi to test?

That might ultimately be worth trying later, but do you have anything easy like a mouse or keyboard you could try pairing?

@marie011101 I've tried that a million times, it's searches for the controller, and the controller searches for the pi, they just don't connect, on top of that being an old build..
