Hello, Noob here, first time using a raspberry Pi 3 I've just bought... I want to install Retropie on it, but also I want to have an arch installation too which is a OS I used to have on my Mac several years ago.

From reading the documentation I understand that Retropie is built on top of a raspbian system, is that right? So my Raspberry came with an SD with the NOOBS system on it, which can install both the raspbian and the arch systems, but what I want to know is... is this the best way to do it? install raspbian and Arch from the NOOBS menu and then follow the steps to install Retropie on raspbian, or is there a easier way to do it?
