      For the life of me I can't figure out how to change his back, or how I changed it to begin with, but in EmulationStation when I go to the Retropie section and enter it all of the different options are centered whereas before they were all on the left and on the right side it had a display saying what each option did. How can I change it back to before? On the latest version of RetroPie using the Carbon theme.

        @Galius

        Try deleting the theme and downloading it again.

          No luck, still the same. It seems its doing this for all of the themes I've tried as well so I can only assume I changed something somewhere to make it display like this.

            @Galius It seems to be defaulting to the simple view. Unsure why that would be happening - do you have proper gamelists for that? (I don't know if there would be a gamelist for the RetroPie menu - I expect it would, but just checking).

            @Nismo I had been meaning to ask: how are you? Are you back home? Hope you're feeling better!

              @Galius reinstall the retropie menu from the setup script

                @herb_fargus Just tried this, still showing the same way.

                @pjft Ah is that what it is, a simple view? How do I check if I have a proper gamelists for it? (if it even has that)

                    @Nismo Great to hear, that's all that matters. Do take care and get better soon!

                    @Galius you should have a gamelist.xml file at ~/.emulationstation/gamelists/retropie/gamelist.xml .

                    What are its contents?

                      @pjft Not able to check right now, but will once I get the time. Also earlier when I reinstalled the retropie menu as @herb_fargus suggested I lost the ability to switch to attract mode within the Retropie menu. How do I add that back?

                        @Galius Oh my - I would have little to no idea about that, as I don't use Attract Mode, apologies.

                        Best to look in the Wiki or search the forums, sorry.

                        Also, that information would probably help in understanding your overall setup and what problems may be present there.
