      hello everyone,
has anyone tried psx micro machines v3 with 8 player (or any other game for that matter)

i still face issues with connecting 4 usb gamepads with psx (they work fine with other emulators) , i just need to play around with multitab to get 4 player right , however

is 8 player possible, if YES
      how do you do it...
4 bt and 4 usb ? or use a powered usb hub or 2 usb hubs or 2 rasperies with netplay and 4 players on each side ?

      waiting for your solutions ...

      Duka

I've never tried it but the documentation says it is possible with the lr-pcsx-rearmed emulator:

You could probably get a USB hub to help you plug in 8 USB controllers. I have a Generic Xbox Wireless Gaming Receiver which allows me to connect up to 4 wireless Xbox 360 controllers to my RPi. You could do that and you'd have 3 more free USB ports for USB gamepads which would get you up to 7 players. The 8th player could be using Bluetooth.

me and a friend tried with 2 xbox recievers and we got up to 6 controllers working
          so this method is good

i will try with a usb hub later and confirm if it works or not
