@space-cadet said in N64 glitches:

This is 100% correct.
Make sure to search the forum before posting requests. There are many, many, MANY posts on N64 compatibility (aka the lack thereof) on this forum already.

Mario kart 64 should work. Sound like you had it working before but you changed something in a a config and now it stopped working. What did you change?

@tmntturtlguy well before i had to reset my config becuase i screwed something up so i had to fix my resolution in the new config

@alexck if you would share what files and what edits you made you might be able to get some help. Generic questions and information do not provide enough for us to help you.
-
@tmntturtlguy well before i was having some problems where all the game graphics would load improperly so i read if i did something like sudo rm something/something/retroarch.cfg? It would fix it
-
@alexck ok, but if you can't tell us what "something something" is we can't help you.

you should fill out: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first
mario kart 64 should run no problem, in latest retropie with no changes...

@alexck yes, please do fill out the form in the sticky as suggested. you should be able to check the terminal history if you executed the command from the pi itself. the up arrow key will cycle through previous terminal commands you've entered. shell history is stored in /home/pi/.bash_history
view it with:
cat /home/pi/.bash_history
or
nano /home/pi/.bash_history
