mupen64 plus 8bitdo controller
-
Hi!
Im running the latest version of retropie (3.8...). When i try to launch a game in the mupen64 plus (not the lr version) my controller is not responding at all. I thought that in retropie 3.3 the controller was transfered from retroarch the other emulator. But it seems it has not. Is there a easy way to transfer or copy it?I tried searching but couldn't find anything useful, grateful for any help!

I'm using a 8bitdo Bluetooth controller. And when I look in the specific config file for mupen 64 plus it is referring to my specific controller. I don't understand why it's not responding at all, would make sense if the mapping was wrong but not working at all. In all other retroarch emulators it fine.
Seems like I'm missing something big :).Any idea?

yes... i thought i spotted something obvious but decided not. you should post your full config files though - maybe someone with this controller can compare, as i think a lot of people are using it.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am having the same issues. My 8bitdo Nes30 Pro controller works fine with all normal libretro emulators but doesn't register with Mupen64Plus. I can use start+select to exit but start by itself or any other buttons do not work. It does however work when plugged in with its USB charging cable but not via bluetooth.

Did anyone get to the bottom of this? I have the same issue.
