Can someone tell me how to disable scanlines in Retroarch?

Ive checked the settings menu and i didnt see an option for scanlines.

The first time i loaded a game in Retroarch there were scanlines. Is this enabled by default?

      RPI 3 running retropie 4.0.

activating scanlines is a pretty lengthy process so i can't believe it could happen by accident :) perhaps you can show us a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Ah - if you used a pre-built image then please edit this file
                  /opt/retropie/configs/mame-libretro/retroarch.cfg
Just add a # in front of the line that sets the shader to on.

I'm assuming you are just talking about MAME? Or are you finding it is on for any system?

Please read the Docs before asking a new question.

                      Check this file:
                      /opt/retropie/configs/nes/retroarch.cfg

You can also access it using the configuration editor
