Prboom Plus How to Get?

I heard while back that prboom plus works on the pi..
But all i can find is the old prboom version on Retropie but where and how do i even get the plus version?
Ive been trying to figure this out for weeks and im just stuck now lol
Its on raspbian if you Google it youll see it right there but how do i even get it to work tho and does it work on Retropie instead of raspbian?
Anyone can shine some light on this on what to do?
Would greatly be appreciate it heh

@retrofreak89 RetroPie is not a standalone OS, it's actually a Raspbian distro with the added configuration and management tools
If Raspbian already includes a PrBoom+ package, then you can just install it via aptitude and apt-get and use it as. The name of the package is prboom-plus, but since it uses X11 and OpenGL, you'll have to start a X11 session or the Pixel desktop environment first.

@mitu i have the Zerojay section now in the experimental but prboom plus is not there only Chocolate and crispy hmm

Maybe @zerojay can help us with this. I'm also quite interesting in Proboom Plus if it is doable on the Pi.
I'm not exactly sure what the difference is between PrBoom and PrBoom Plus.

@brigane i found prboom plus only thing is i have no clue how to load wads with prboom plus can anyone plz help me with that?

Also difference is prboom is An old engine like 10 years old ..prboom plus is new still being updates and also runs the smoother with uncapped framerate as well
