        I guess you just have to try the different settings. What you can do though is go over to www.screescraper.fr and look for some of your games. Under "Medias" you can see the different available box art, marquees etc. for each game.

        See for example Super Castlevania IV:
        https://screenscraper.fr/gameinfos.php?gameid=2173&action=onglet&zone=gameinfosmedias

          @screech Hi. This is my first post on this forum, i’ve only recently discovered retropie and i’m building a couple of Pi’s for my brothers for christmas.

          I’m using your excellent UXS scraper at the moment. I was more than happy to make a donation to your cause, as this is by far the best scraper i’ve used to date.

          I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has contributed to your database and to you especially for all your knowledge and patience in helping all these people with their questions. Good job!

            Is it possible to add an option to download the 2D Box Side Art? I thought about using side art for a theme I'm making for ES.

              @screech when scraping for Pegasus Front End, I need for "wheel"/marquee art to be renamed [romname]-logo.file instead of [romname]-marquee.file in order for this to work in the front end.

              Is it possible to have UXMLS use this extension instead, to avoid needing renaming a lot of files before and after (to have UXMLS detect which I have and not) as well as changing the entries in the gamelist afterwards?

                @andershp edit the xml of the profile you're using, in the ProfilsFiles folder and look for something like this:

                <Element Type="Picture Marquee">
                 <Source_Download_Tag>-marquee</Source_Download_Tag>
                </Element>

                  Hello, thank you for the scraper! I'm pretty excited to try it out. Looks like i'm not able to connect to the database at the moment, is that due to the website being down? I tried the mirror site and I could browse there, but still getting the same error when trying to run the program. I updated everything to 2.2.0.3 and still getting the errors: universal xml scraper fatal error! (problem connecting to the database).

                  From other posts, it looks like this is a known issue when the site is down for maintenance. I tried to un/re/install, turned off my A/V for a bit, ran as admin, all with the same results. I'm sure if the site says its down, that is my problem. Always my luck. The one night that I have to sit down and mess with it for more than 30 mins and the site is down. lol oh well.

                  I'm using windows 7 - 64 bit, and UXS 2.2.0.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

                  Thanks again!

                  Here are my LOGS.txt file.

                    Hi, is it possible to have a combination of 3d boxart and cartart only? (cartart slightly in front of boxart)

                      @paffley You can make your own Mix Template.

                          @paffley I don't know. I'm almost sure that no one has shared a custom MIX profile in this thread tho.
                          I tried to make one some time ago, but it was worthless because of layer issues back then. And it's also a little bit tedious to make MIX templates, because you have to rescrape after every change to check the results.

                              Anyone else getting the fatal error (problem connecting to the database) at UXS startup?

                              It worked earlier today, but now I just cannot get it going, but screenscraper.fr seems to work?

                                            Have just used it to scrape the ROMs again, this time with video snaps, worked lovely. Only one issue was that the Commando video snap was of a weird Space Invaders type clone.
                                            So will have to find the location these videos are saved in, and replace it with the correct one.
                                            Loving this Scraper, when it works as it gives beautiful results. Now the only thing left to do is to try and design my own Theme based on my favourite Sci-Fi programmes :)
