        sudo ~/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_packages.sh retroarch configure

Yes, I meant emulators are not working. I tried this but nothing happened. So now it is like this.
Emulation station is working fine. Mame is working fine, but I configured it through internal menu by pressing TAB on attached kbd. Rest of emulators eg NeoGeo, Sony, Sega32 etc are not reacting at all to joystick nor buttons. Is there any way to eg reset it all than set it up again or some easier solution can be applied?

          Thank you very much!

@vlanidi Did you re-configure your input again in ES after you deleted your input configuration ?

@mitu said in DragonRise Inc Generic USB joystick:

              ES

You mean after I reset and configured inputs, using mv /home/pi/.emulationstation/es_input.cfg es_input.cfg.bak
              sudo shutdown -r now

did I do the same from ES?

@vlanidi After the steps you mention - and the restart - did you configure again the input in ES ?

@mitu nothing changed after configuring input by using ES menu.

@vlanidi How did you configure your input initially, before the update ? Was it working before ?

OK, I discovered one more thing, when I change emulator joystick option to "lunix-raw" NeoGeo doenst work. On some others only LR is working but not up and down. I wonder if it would be ok to format sd card and install system from scratch?

@vlanidi Before re-writining anything, try resetting your inputs from the RetroPie-setup, the Emulationstation package has an option to reset all your configured controllers. Do that, restart ES and then re-configure your gamepad.

I am old SOB so from experience clean install was the only working solution.

Thank you all for your help!
