    Please see here instead: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/15998/some-1280x1024-overlays

    Here's an album with a couple of 4:3 ratio bezels, for the following vertical games;
    1941 (based on @UDb23 's original)
    1942
Bomb Jack (alternate version) (based on @UDb23 's original)
Burger Time (based on @UDb23 's original)
    Centipede
    Commando
    DoDonPachi
    Donkey Kong Jr
Frogger (based on @UDb23 's original)
    Mercs
    Ms. Pac-Man (based on @UDb23 's original)
    Pac-Man (based on @UDb23 's original)
    Time Pilot

All at 1280 x 1024, and sized to give a small black band between the edge and the display area when used with these shaders. Hopefully someone will find them useful.

@AndrewH It would be kind if you mention that they are based on @UDb23 's artwork. Or even better, post those 4:3 version to his repository: https://github.com/udb23/rpie-ovl

@meleu About half of them are based on @UDb23 's artwork, typically with a good bit of modification (i.e repositioning of elements, rather than just squashing them horizontally), with the others being ones I put together from other sources, again typically with a good bit of recomposition.

I'd be very happy to have them included in an existing repository, and would be interested in contributing my meager Photoshop talents for the greater good (particularly for anyone else out there who's gaming at 4:3) - what would I need to do?

@AndrewH first step is to create a github account. And then you need to learn how to submit a Pull Request.

@AndrewH Nice work! I haven't messed with overlays because I'm running with a 5:4 screen, but this is an excellent opportunity to do so.. Are the actual gaming screen reduced in height to give more room for the overlays?

            Keep 'em coming!

Shoutout to @UDb23 for making these excellent 5:4 (1280x1024) bezels for us with non-widescreen monitors.

I know this is old, but I have been searching for 4x3 1024x768 bezels for retroarch everywhere and I can't seem to find one. I see a few here, but aren't there supposed to be cfg files also?

@dbinott : I'm sorry to say that they're actually 5:4 aspect ratio, and mis-labeled because at the time I posted them, I incorrectly assumed that all non-widescreen aspect ratios were the same. The full set can now be found in this thread

This means that they won't quite work for you - the side art will intrude a bit on both sides of the game screen.

I've now got a 1600 x 1200 display for one of my setups, so I hope to get time to create some proper 4:3 aspect ratio bezels at some point. I'll post a link in the forum if/when I do.

I would like that very much, because I also have a 1600x1200 display. :)
