Powerblock driver crashed system
-
I accidentally installed the powerblock driver while trying to get my PS3 controllers working, and the system won't boot up at all. I can't connect via SFTP either. Screen just goes black.. Am I screwed or does anyone know how to fix this?
-
Also to clarify, I don't have a powerblock switch, it was activated by accident..

@paulmartin Up until a few months (?), installing the powerblock driver without having the device would reboot your system, immediately after start. This has been modified so that if you had an updated system, this wouldn't happen.
Are you in a similar situation or your system does not boot at all ? -
@mitu thank you for your reply. It just loads up the intial boot screen, then a flash of data which is so fast I can't read it, then the underscore "_" blinking in the top left of the screen, then my tv loses a signal.
I have updated everything and the firmware is the latest as well.

@paulmartin Try looking into the options described in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/672/a-stop-job-is-running-for-lsb-controlblockservice-init-script/18, either boot the Pi in 'safe mode' or mount the card from another Linux system and delete the powerblock driver start script to stop the reboot cycle.
