Scraped images showing up for nes, megadrive and n64 but not snes
-
I found a really cool scraper called Universal XML scraper which puts a game image and the box art together into a .png file. I have been able to add the images to my nes, megadrive and n64 emulators, but after adding them for my snes emulator they don't seem to show up regardless of which UI I choose. It's always just a black frame.

Guide used: EmulationStation scraper guide on this site and Universal XML Scraper on github. The guide for this is
File: retropie/configs/all/.emulationstation/gamelists/snes/gamelist.xml
Emulator: lr-snes9x2002 and lr-snes9x2005
Attachment of config files:
/retropie/configs/all/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg
https://pastebin.com/0tFaNxJe
/retropie/configs/all/.emulationstation/gamelists/snes/gamelist.xml (shortened to just the first entry for brevity)
https://pastebin.com/EHEyPBPSHow to replicate the problem: Boot Pi and choose SNES emulator from EmulationStation. Games will have black frame instead of the images located in /retropie/configs/all/.emulationstation/downloaded_images/snes/

@vaylen Your problem is something in your particular configuration/scraped info. Post the complete gamelist.xml for the SNES system and check that the images are actually downloaded and correct.

So EasyHax pointed out to me that any gamelist.xml file in the roms directory will override the one in the .emulationstation/gamelists/ directories. Sure enough I found a 0 byte gamelist.xml file in the snes roms directory. It HAD to be something this simple...
