      I was curious to see what the deal was here. Did you ever get the mice working? Could it have anything to do with the mouse index setting that was added recently-ish?

        @edmaul69 I have a trackball (set as a mouse) that works with mame2003 and millipede/centipede on 4.4. I'll try WCB tomorrow.

          @stoney66 did you set the controller index to a mouse? I didnt have to do that before. Mice/trackballs just worked. I will change the index and see what happens.

              You can now choose which mouse device is used for which player in the player input settings. Needless to say, if the right device isn't assigned to the right player, it's not going to be read, whereas before, they all just worked indiscriminately.

                  There should be a listing labeled 'Mouse Index' in each of the numbered player settings inside the 'Input' menu.

                      @edmaul69 sorry I was wrong, the games I have working with trackball are with advmame1.4 not mame2003.

                        @mediamogul got it working. i think it sees my dolphinbar as 4 mice. so i needed mouse index 4 for my regular mouse. thank you for your help.
