      Hi everybody,

I am trying improve psx graphic but when I launch a game and pushing selet+triangle to get in the retroarch menu, I go on quick menu and then option, but the menu is missing the option I want to modify. Looks like my retroarch is not updated or something? What have I to do?

What about the n64? Can you explain me?

      Thanks everybody

@tackskull You'll need to edit a couple of config files for the enhanced graphics in PSX. The short instructions are on this page down under Enhanced Graphics:

        https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Playstation-1/

They make a wonderful difference 😊

For the N64 you'll want to enter the runcommand after launching the game by pressing the A mapped button on your controller or keyboard when the runcommand window pops up and selecting an emulator with the high res option. Keep in mind some N64 games won't run worth a darn in certain emulators and you'll want to check compatibility lists in the Docs section or just try different ones until you find a good match.

Hi thanks for the answer, but I am no able to fix this.

Looks like my retropie is missing something, I cant find the conf file I have to modify, I was navigating for a couple of hours thrue all the possible files via the retropie setup, but nothing.

I am seeing that also every shader I try to apply on the others emulators, like snes, doesn't work. I tryed via retropie setup and via retroarch, applying changes. But in game nothing happen. is like I am missing something or some kind of option is avoiding me to get any kind of enhanced graphic on any system

@tackskull What version of RetroPie are you using and how did you install it ? Please give more details as instructed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

              @mitu

I am using version 4.4.1, I installed retropie via sudo run command on my pc running linux ubuntu. I have updated everything I was able to update. Dont know what to do.

I launch retropie, than I go on "retropie setup", than i go on "configuration tools", than on "configedit". From here I tryed "manually edit all configuration", but can't find the psx neon advanced graphic voice to change on "able".

Also why my shaders don't work on others emulators?

Should i try to unistall and reinstall retroarch? If I do it all my rom metadatas will be lost?

that's not what it tells you to do in the linked instructions? https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Playstation-1/#enhanced-graphics

I got the retroarch-core-options.cfg and I scrolled down to pcsx_rearmed, there are many option to configure but the "neon enhanced" is not there.

in retropie it would be /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-core-options.cfg

not sure if it's different on PC

I have two folders, "retropie and retropie-setup" and in any o them there isn't a conffiguration -> all folder. So what I do now?
