      Trying to get a decent performance out of VICE (non lr version) on Pi3 Retropie 4.2. The emu runs 100% @50FPS in FullHD native resolution if no filter is enabled. As CRT emulation is turned on, the performance drops to about 35FPS.

      I have tried overclocking but nor GPU and CPU overclock seem to bring benefits

      Highest overclock config I've tested as follows
      arm_freq=1300
      gpu_freq=500
      core_freq=500
      sdram_freq=500
      sdram_schmoo=0x02000020
      over_voltage=2
      sdram_over_voltage=2

      Any idea why overclock doesn't seem to affect performance?
      Also, one more question: anyone tried VICE+CRT emulation on Pi3+ and can report the results?

      Thanks in advance for any tip
