      Original name: Carbon Light. Changed to Luminous since it doesn't really look too much like Carbon. As with Carbon, you can search and replace colors to change the theme color. (I'll have to write a tutorial on it later)

            Oh @Rookervik I've downloaded the version attached from that page. By looking at the es_logs I could see the below... I've checked inside of the art directory and indeed the files indicated are not there. Did I miss anything? I just downloaded the zip, unzip it under themes folder and that was all. Could that also explain the stuttering and slowdowns I was mentionning in the other thread?

              Hey! Thanks for this. It looks like remnants left over from Carbon. I'll open it up and see if I can find the guilty tags and remove them. :D

              As far as slow-downs, I can't answer that. It's possible, but there are a lot of small elements on the screen avoiding RAM limitations, so the Pi is having to keep all of those elements lined up as it scrolls. I'd say no, but we'll see. Maybe once I find these it will speed up. We can hope.

                  Ok, think I found both errors. The second one was pretty hard to fix. The "system.svg." Anyway, lol, they're fixed. I'll update the download up top if you want to try it again.

                    thanks a lot @Rookervik I do confirm that now the errors are gone!! As you suspected this had no impact on the performance and I still could see some stuttering or non smooth transition in the carousel.

                    Also I like the fact that you removed the items titles (publisher, players, etc). In that case any chance to squeeze the publisher+developer in please? :) yeah I know I'm a pain and that's ok if it's too painful and can't be done. I may have asked this already (and if so apologize for the repeat) but in case you don't have child friendly ES enabled, is there any way to use the empty space left below players? for instance to display the rating? In short, if you use ES child friendly version displays the child icons else display rating from gamelist.

                      @nemo93 Yeah, you ask to add them constantly. I'm trying to re-position the meta data on Carbon and it's taking longer than it took to design the rest of the theme. Different meta data align at different spots. I'm getting close to ready to remove all meta data completely. ES meta data is a complete nightmare.

                        sorry for that :( I swear I won't ask again. Especially after reading one of your post where you explained how painful it was to align properly metadata in ES. Please forget what I just ask in my previous post. Luminous remains my default theme anyhow, it's so great!

                          @nemo93 No-no, it's ok. I didn't mean to sound rude. I was just really frustrated at the meta data on carbon. LOL. I was still never able to get them to line up, perfectly, horizontally. Even going as far as 0.001% changes. Just had to get them close enough. Then stop OCDing over it. :D

                          May sound sad, but I still just use Pixel. Haha. Meta data really annoys me. I just need the screenshot, and I'd like it big.

                            No worries at all! I'm using this theme for a couple of weeks now without troubles. It's really lovely. Seems that my stuttering issue are still there but less visible it's all rather smooth in the end (Pi2) and very pleasant to use.

                            I may have another issue I need to have your confirmation. In the game list, left hand side, whenever you have a long game name then the last characters are being cut off after scrolling is over. It reminds me of the very same annoying behavior from other themes as well like Simple (then I suspect ES is at fault). The workaround so far was to add a blank space at the end of the name. Yet this doesn't work here like if the blank was not taken into account.

                            let me know if you need logs or whatnot!! Now i'm going to take a look at your splash screens section which looks gorgeous too. thanks!

                              @nemo93 Yeah I've noticed the long name issue. It's not something that can be changed by a theme. Seems all long names cut off like that when the title scrolls. I've never had any luck trying to fix it. :-(

                                @Rookervik Any chance you update this theme with the new changes to ES? I'm guessing I know the answer to this, but figured I'd ask any way.

                                  @hooperre I don't know what all the new changes are. ES has a lot of commits and I can't keep up. Video has been around a long time. Adding video shouldn't be hard. I just didn't know anyone used this theme.

                                    Haha oh I love Luminous, man! I was going to offer to try to do it myself because it's my main theme. I didn't think I could do it justice. Also, sorry I think I troubled you with the same question on the Carbon-light theme and forgot now that I'm looking. Oops.

                                      Is the download still around somewhere? I'm working on a complete modular theme proof of concept based on carbon (because it already has 3 different versions) and it would be great if i could use this for an easy setup to test a color modul without having to do much work on my own. :)

                                          @ectoone: I'm doing something similar, but I'm starting from scratch. I have a basic base theme, with different skins that you can choose that change the look of the theme while leaving the basic layout the same. I'm about 80% done, so I should have something to show people by tonight/tomorrow.
