Hello I'm hitting through multiple brick walls, too much interference.
I installed raspbian packages so that I can install kodi. I've research through the forums, but now I'm getting this message still every time start the raspberry retropie.
      "Rasbian GNU/Linux 9 retropie tty1"
      Retropie login:
I input username and password. I have already "enable SSH", researched forums/docs.

I don't want to login every time anymore?

I just installed Stretch, fresh install, basic install setup. I did not install PIXEL. WHat am I missing?

A forum search: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/18591/asking-for-retropie-login-on-boot-after-update. This happened recently due to an update from Raspbian.

If you're speaking about Kodi specifically, the key commands are actually universal between systems. Outside of that, they still remain very similar and sometimes even unchanged to those found elsewhere.
