Can't connect wireless PlayStation controllers! HELP!
-
Hi guys,
I bought some wireless Playstation controllers off this site:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2018-UK-New-for-PS3-Wireless-Bluetooth-3-0-Controller-Game-Handle-Remote-Gamepad/253488512069?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=552672657760&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649I've installed:
- Clone support Gasia
- Gasia
- Clone support Shanwan
But I can't get them to work! Anyhow!
I really need some urgent help as this is another one of my projects. I'm on an overclocked Raspberry Pi (1.3gHz) with a 3D Printed PSX-type case, if that helps.
Help! Thank you!

Is this for another one of those 'influencers' meetings ? (1). The controller looks fake, does it work with a PS3 ?
Also, when asking for support, please include the full information requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

@mitu Hehe, not quite. Something different.
What other information is needed? I hope this helps:
Running on a Raspberry Pi 3 B Overclocked to 1.3gHz
3D-Printed PSX case (but I don't think it interferes with bluetooth)
Latest RetroPie versionThe controllers say that they work with PlayStation, and I even brought up some old controllers that I'm pretty sure work, but none of them are connecting!

The controller is shanwan, i checked it, here is the log:
[ 3287.782325] usb 1-1.3: Product: PS3 GamePad [ 3287.782333] usb 1-1.3: Manufacturer: SHANWAN
However I tried to pair it with the Shanwan software and it didn't work. I am really super duper lost with this one.

I just removed configurations and installed the software again. I checked if
sixad
was running and surely enough it was. I don't know what to do. -
@mitu Perhaps it's an issue with the bluetooth, or the overclock taking away too much voltage from the bluetooth module? What do you think?
-
@nicky_s14 When you say it didn't work, do you mean the controller didn't connect to the Bluetooth or does it connect with Bluetooth and the light flashes to the solid Player 1 light but the controller doesn't actually allow input?

Just a site note: If the controller really is compatible with the PS3, you could try this wireless adapter. I'm using its Wii U Pro variant for my Wii U Pro controller clones. If it works for PS3 like it does for Wii U Pro, it "just works" without any special software.
