      Hey Guys.

I have an Arcade cabinet 2 player, i am using a XIN-MO USB encoder, issue i am having is it will only display 1 controller.

I have switched from retropie Jessie to Stretch i have added to the cmdline.txt / usbhid.quirks=0x16c0:0x05e1:0x040 as per Jessie build, however it only sees player 1 controls, is there any new line i should add or a work around please.

I am a novice so please go easy guys when explaining it to me, and i am sure there will be others out there having the same issue.

      cheers in advance.

@arcademanz You should add the info requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
When you boot up for the 1st time and run the Input configuration, how many gamepads does Emulationstation detect - 1 or 2 ?

I am having the same issue mine comes up with o LG one gamepad recognized. I have a 3B+ with retropie 4.4. I have tried the custom kernel 1.20160322-1 and the cmdline.txt with no luck. The kernel install fails though so I'm not sure how to get around that or if it would even work on a 3B+ at all.
