Mouse cursor appearing for a few frames before JZINT runs
-
Thanks for any help you guys can offer ... I've tried to surf forums for a few days but can't get anything.
Pi Model or other hardware: 3B
Power Supply used: Amazon Echo Dot supply, 5.2v 1.8a
RetroPie Version Used: 4.4
Built From: Latest RetroPie image on website with apt-get update run
USB Devices connected: Dell USB keyboard and Arduino Micro configured as a keyboard
Controller used: Intellivision controllers plugged in to Arduino. Issue persists with any combination of Arduino/keyboard.
Emulator: jzint
How to replicate the problem: open a JZINT rom, large cursor flashes in top left corner of the screen just before game runs./opt/retropie/configs/intellivision/emulators.cfg
jzintv = "/opt/retropie/emulators/jzint/bin/jzintv --voice=1 --fullscreen=1 -p /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS -a 44000 -q --kbdhackfile=/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/intellivision/hackfile.cfg %ROM%" default = "jzintv"
I have tried with and without the fullscreen call. I've tried removing /home/pi/.config/retroarch/assets/xmb/monochrome/png/cursor.png
I also looked at getting unclutter to run but don't see how it would do any good without running a desktop environment.For grins, here's my /boot/cmdline.txt
dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0 console=ttyAMA0,115200 console=tty3 root=PARTUUID=f2d3cb4f-02 rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes rootwait loglevel=3 fastboot logo.nologo vt.global_cursor_default=0 consoleblank=0 plymouth.enable=0

For what it's worth, I got a 5.2v 2.5a power supply. I had no reason to believe it would make a difference; but I've seen much stupider things fix dumb things.
Of course, the cursor still pops.
