ROMs being deleted from retropie

I've been running retropie on the pi B 3+ for the past few days now, and I put about 20 ROMs on it from various systems. For some reason oo7 GoldenEye shows up in my playable games but when I click on it after a few seconds it just goes back to game selection screen. when I checked where I stored the files they always have zero KB in size. This happens every time I restart my pi . But it's only for this game, the rest of my N64 games work fine. Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

You probably have a corrupt file system or a bad card

@retropiepghguy , why is it only some games that are effected? now i am having this problem with GBA games.

I had the wrong BIOS for GBA, getting the correct one fixed it. But there is not one for N64.

@mitu I know but i had the same problem with GBA and the BIOS fixed it. now i have the problem with N64 but i have no idea how to fix it.

I had a the problem with my BIOS and ROMS not showing up after copying them over. Heck, I even had a problem where the config.txt on the Retropie's boot volume was 0kb in size and was completely blank. Some weird phenomenon going on with Retropie.

@Nikorasu081 That's usually an indication that your SD card is corrupted, as the first reply to your topic suggested.

@mitu My SD card isn't corrupted, that's the thing. If my SD card was corrupted I would know, and of course I wouldn't be using Retropie on it either.

@mitu I forget to mention that I had a similar problem with the PlayStation 1 emulator a few days ago. The cue files kept getting erased but the game files were fine, but they also wouldn't start. I ended up having to unpack them to get them into the correct bin format. Once that was done the cue files fix themselves and now it's working fine. so somewhat similar to the GBA fix, once I found the problem the deleted files fix themselves. Without me having to reinstall them at all. I don't know much about emulation or retropie, so I was hoping someone with a little more experience could help me fix this.

What happens if you fill the mSD card to near capacity? A fake mSD card that isn't the actual capacity that it claims to be will behave this way.

This problem has nothing to do with emulation or RetroPie and it's not something that comes up often. When it does, it's usually SD card corruption.

@mitu I thought it maybe a fake SD card as well with a lower amount of storage than I thought. But I've been installing a lot of more PlayStation 1 games and those are all working fine.
