      @lilbud Now 2 days after usage, everything works fine. I have just changed the 1.5s delay to 1.0s. It is just very small effect, but I feel like 1.5s takes an eternity until video starts. Its just my personal preference. Another note, I also tried different (free) fonts from my Ubuntu installation. I found the "Ubuntu-R.ttf" (from usr/share/fonts/truetype/Ubuntu/ from desktop Ubuntu) is much better readable on my 640*480p screen, more clear. It could be just on my specific setup, but why not telling it here?!

      A lot of game descriptions at the right side have characters like """, which aren't transformed into the characters they represent. Is this theme dependent or should I look elsewhere?

        The only thing that could be is characters that don't have a matching glyph in the font file.

        Not gonna lie, that Ubuntu font looks pretty sharp in the theme. I might add it and have it switchable in the theme.xml

            @thelostsoul That might be a problem with the scraper. Or the gamelist files, I dunno.

                  @lilbud Is it possible to get a "no Meta" option added to the theme so it just shows the Games list and Box art without the developer, released and description data?

                  Thanks :)

                    @Wolverine1977 It is possible, I haven't done it though. Was never in the plans, but i'll look into it.

                        Apologies for the stupid question but how do you toggle between showing the Xbox and PS controller help buttons? I can't seem to figure it out.

                          @WylieCoyote In the 'config.xml' file. Change letters.xml to symbols.xml

                            @lilbud Many thanks for the prompt response. I've searched the entire image using WinSCP and I have no config.xml file to edit??

                                @lilbud Well, there's my problem. In /etc/emulatationstation/themes I have 'darkswitch' and 'lightswitch' and no es-theme-switch. Apologies, I suspect I'm referring to a completely different theme. Noted github link at the top of the thread, will download try again.

                                  @lilbud All working perfectly (once I figured out how to change permissions on the config.xml). Many thanks for your excellent theme and apologies for the oversight on my part.

                                      @natanpi That ain't my theme. That one was made by someone else (can't think of the name off the top of my head) who didn't realize there was an existing one already.

                                      Mine should be labelled under lilbud on the downloader.

                                      I don't have plans to add those icons currently.

                                            @lilbud Is it possible to port your theme to BATOCERA OS? They forked the RetroPie ES and your theme is ideal for small devices!
                                            As last step it can be integrated into their theme downloader
