Pi Model or other hardware: 3B+
    RetroPie Version Used - 4.4
    Retroarch 1.7.1
    ES v2.7.5rp
Built From: Retropie from the retropie site
    Power Supply used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L88M8TE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
USB Devices connected: usb inext controllers

Ok, hopefully this is my last post here for awhile and I can just help others with what I have learned here.
I finally have my Pi set up exactly how I want it and I am trying to backup the sd card using the same tool I used to put retropie on the sd card - win32diskimager.

I have one pi sd card that I backed up with no problem. The other pi sd card is not being recognized by win32diskimager at all. I changed card readers and that didn't help. Any ideas?

@beezerhale Did you first format it using the free sdformatter 4.0 tool?

@beezerhale Is the card working fine on the Pi ? If you insert it into the PC, do you see the boot partition on the card ?

@mitu Yes, I formatted the sd card, yes the Pi reads it and is running Retropie perfectly, and yes I see boot partition when I insert it into my WIndows 10 laptop. Just Win32diskimager does not recognize that it is inserted.

@mitu OK, strange, but I tried on a different laptop and it works fine. Made the backup. The other sd card backed up just fine on the laptop that this sd card would not. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it is done ... both sd cards backed up. Thanks again!
