    Hi everyone

    So I thought it would be a good idea to do a re-scrape to get better resolution images, however it seems mamedb.com has died so now I barely have any data at all for my 0.37b5 Mame romset (and I had the scraper set to overwrite the gamelist.xml file, argh!).

    Does anyone have a gamelist.xml for the 0.37b5 romset they can share? And as a bonus, does anyone have 400px images to go with it? I'd be very grateful for any help.

      For mamedb, you can get the title shots in PNG format from http://www.emu-france.com/utilitaires/17-mame-support-files/264-crashtest-art-packs/2806-crashtest-shots-titles/.

        Let's see if this helps. Here is the gamelist.xml to every single rom in the 0.37b5 romset gamelist.xml And here you have a snapshots zip file for every single rom in the romset. As you will see, games in the gamelist do not show the fullname but actually the rom name. I am trying to figure out how to create a gamelist that BOTH links rom to snap AND displays full game title instead of rom title. If anyone can help, be it welcome!

            @derebo ive created a repo with just the human readable name and title or game snaps (you can pick which you prefer) you have to put the images folder and gamelist.xml in your ROM folder

              @herb_fargus Thank you for your message. I've reviewed the snaps for mame2000 (2241 snaps) which match the amount of roms 2241. mame2003 (4719 snaps) which almost perfectly matches the 4720 roms in mame2003. Wow! You have done an amazing piece of work there! Congrats! I thought the missing one might be sfish2 or sfish2j but the snaps are there. Could we review and have a perfect match? I think i might create a text file for each folder (roms and snaps) and run a compare between the two to find the missing snap.

              I have reviewed your gdrive shared folder for mame2000 and mame2003 and that looks promising!!! As it compiles info from different sources to generate the most beautiful xml we could think of! Great!

                Found: cvs rom does not seem to have a matching screenshot.
                Regards,

                  @derebo that's a BIOS file so it won't have a screenshot.
