      Raspberry Pie 3
      RetroPie v4.5.1
      Controller: https://tinyurl.com/vrmhvf7
(controller is confirmed in reviews to work with RetroPie)

I am using the docs tutorial to pair the controllers(s), unfortunately no device shows up when trying to "Register and Connect Bluetooth Devices", onboard bluetooth is activated on the system. The controller(s) do show up in Windows 10 as GamePad so they do work fine. There are no solutions recommended in docs. What could be the problem here?

Try again, several times ? I've had this happen with 8Bitdo controllers, had to set to pairing a few times before it got picked up by the Pi.

Can you run sudo rfkill unblock all from the command line and re-try ? Maybe the BT radio is disabled ?
